Copula ETL for Rochade is an ETL tool for the ASG Rochade metadata server based on Data Integrity Institute Inc.'s advanced Copula ETL technology. Copula ETL for Rochade adds an efficient relational engine to the hierarchical Rochade database system and provides common sorting, comparing, aggregating, filtering and selecting abilities usually found in relational database engines.

Copula ETL for Rochade encapsulates the following components:

• The Rochade Client with its' anything but standard Rochade Procedural Language (RPL) and low level Java API, is not the most convenient interface for developing and maintaining metadata applications. The AutoPilot by itself is strictly an interactive tool that does not allow intuitive batch unattended mode of execution. Since Rochade is based on a hierarchical database, no component of the Rochade client supports relational processing (sorting, ordering, aggregating, comparing) that is commonly integrated into all SQL database engines.
• The Copula Relational Engine for Rochade is a Data Integrity Institute Inc. layer built on top of the Rochade Client. It adds to Rochade an efficient relational engine, with the ability to select, filter, sort, order aggregate and compare any Rochade data type and data set. The Copula Relational Engine for Rochade supports seamlessly and transparently all Rochade objects, data types and features (namespace, long item name, etc.) for all Rochade versions.
• Bulk High Level Routines are APIs that enable productive and intuitive development of any Rochade batch unattended metadata application for massive data (metadata) processing in the standard corporate development environment, similar to any other Database application. No particular language or environment is required or excluded.
• Interactive High Level Routines are APIs that enable productive and intuitive development of any Rochade interactive metadata application for data (metadata) processing in the standard corporate development environment, similar to any other Database application. No particular language or environment is required or excluded.
